We believe that understanding the future of money shouldn't be reserved for protocol engineers. Learn Me a Lightning provides a technical but accessible path to mastering how digital payments settle across a decentralized web of nodes, using visual metaphors and interactive simulations.
The Inspiration
This project is a spiritual successor and companion to Learn Me a Bitcoin. We aim to maintain that same high bar for educational clarity, focusing specifically on the BOLT specifications and the practical mechanics of payment channels.
Open Source & Community
Education should be a public good. The entire platform — from the text to the interactive Playgrounds — is licensed under MIT and hosted publicly.
