Mission

Learn Me a Lightning aims to make the Lightning Network accessible to everyone. We believe that understanding Bitcoin and Lightning should be free and open, with clear explanations that build intuition before diving into technical details.

Inspiration

This project is inspired by Learn Me a Bitcoin, an excellent resource for understanding Bitcoin fundamentals. Learn Me a Lightning continues that educational journey, focusing on the Lightning Network layer.

This project is fully open source. All code and content is available on GitHub. We welcome contributions from the community — whether it's fixing a typo, adding content, or building new interactive tools.
